Attorney Chad Pace, Esq. is a 2010 graduate from the Penn State School of Law. He began his career at non-profit legal aid. He was a county prosecutor for 5 years and argued more than 150 criminal trials through verdict. C. Pace Law is now his firm.
Chad holds dual bachelor’s degrees in history and philosophy and is admitted to practice law in Nevada, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. He is a published author on the topic of 6th Amendment rights.
Kenton Karrasch joins Carlson & Work with unmatched family law experience. Kenton is a former Judicial Assistant at the Washoe County Family Court. He also holds an MBA and JD, providing specialized insight in contract drafting and negotiations.

Lauren was born and raised in Northern California and moved to Reno in 2017 upon receiving her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Nevada. Lauren accepted a position at Carlson & Work in the Fall of 2017 as an unpaid intern.
Within a month, Lauren was promoted to Legal Assistant and within six months, she was the General Manager of the firm.
TAYLOR SHOWERS, OPERATIONS MANAGER
Taylor was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. Taylor began her career as a receptionist for a local education firm, specializing in business law. In 2019, Taylor continued her education by completing the paralegal certificate course at University of Reno, Nevada. After completing the course she was promoted to a senior paralegal. In 2020, Taylor was offered a position as a

Meet Hannah, our happy, always smiling, and customer-driven Legal Assistant. Hannah is a Nevada Native who loves music, travel, and people. Her hobbies include reading, music festivals, hiking the Sierra Nevada mountains (her favorite trail in Galena Creek), and warm weather travel. She spends as much time with her family and friends as possible when she has free time between work and university studies.
MACKENZIE GRAY, LAW CLERK
Ms. Gray joins Carlson and Work as a law clerk. She is brilliantly capable, energetic, and passionate about the work she performs. As a Nevada native, she is currently attending the University of Nevada, Reno on an academic scholarship. Fun Fact: Ms. Gray is a national champion equestrian rider.
